What will my case cost?A straight answer, in a range.
It is the first question everyone asks. Answer three questions and see the realistic retainer range for your situation (based on this firm's actual case history across the twelve North Texas counties, not a teaser number).
Step 1 of 3
What does your situation look like?
Fair questions about the numbers.
Why a range instead of an exact price?
Because an exact number without seeing your case would be a guess, and guesses in family law are expensive. The range reflects the firm’s actual case history for situations like yours; the exact retainer is set at the Attorney Strategy Consultation once an attorney has evaluated your specific facts.
What happens to the $275 if I retain the firm?
The $275 consultation fee is applied to your retainer if you retain the firm. It pays for a working session under attorney-client privilege, where an attorney evaluates your case and walks you through your rights and options, and the retainer pays for the legal work that follows.
Why do you charge for the consultation when other firms are free?
Our consultation is paid because of what it is: a working session where an attorney evaluates your case and walks you through your rights and options, under privilege. Free is for alignment: the 15-minute Case Alignment Review costs nothing and confirms fit before you spend a dollar.
Are payment plans available?
Payment options are discussed at your consultation, once the scope of your case is clear.
The ranges shown by this tool are general information drawn from the firm's case history. They are not a fee quote, a cap, a floor, or legal advice, and using this tool does not create an attorney-client relationship. Every case is different; the retainer for your case is set only after an attorney evaluates it.
