Is the alignment review really free?
The Free Case Alignment Review costs nothing. We do not pitch on it, and we do not charge for the fifteen minutes it takes. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on the call and point you toward someone who is. That is why we can keep it free.
Will I get legal advice on the call?
No. The alignment review is a fit check and a conflicts check, not a consultation, and nothing said on it is legal advice. Advice begins at the Strategy Consultation, once your file is open.
Is anything I say on the alignment review protected?
Not yet. The alignment review is a conflicts and fit check, not a privileged consultation, so it is not protected the way a consultation is. Privilege attaches when your file is open at the Strategy Consultation. In practical terms: share enough on the alignment review for us to confirm fit, and save the sensitive detail for the consult, where it is protected.
What does the Strategy Consultation cost?
The Strategy Consultation is $275. Your attorney reads your file before the consultation starts, so the time goes to evaluating your case and walking you through your rights and options, not to repeating what you already told intake.
What if I am not sure my case is contested?
Tell us on the alignment review. If your matter is straightforward, we will say so and tell you what a simpler path looks like. If the facts have stakes you may not have spotted yet, we will say so on the call.
How fast can I talk to someone?
Quickly. Call us and we will call you back in 30 minutes or less. From the form, an alignment review is typically scheduled within a business day. The conversation itself runs about fifteen minutes, and we ask the operational questions up front so that, by the time you sit with your attorney at the Strategy Consultation, the time is spent on your answer, not your file.
